The mission is simple: to help a soldier in a foreign land, or even at boot camp, know that people are thinking about them back home. Getting something from home and knowing that someone cares is a huge pick-me-up! Many Soldiers don't have someone who can do that for them!
Treatboxes wants to put a smile on the soldier's face that doesn't ever get a package from home. The Treatbox, along with a note of thanks, is sent via the U.S. Postal Service. The boxes are addressed to a specific soldier at an APO (Army & Air Force) or FPO (Navy & Marine) number.
Letters received from soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen prove that these packages from home are greatly appreciated and that they do boost morale.
As etsy shop owners, we can donate an item to be auctioned off to help cover shipping costs, or donate items to be included in the treatboxes. It’s so easy to help! I donated my “Life’s a Beach” bracelet for the August Auction to help cover the cost of shipping the Treatboxes. And, anyone can help by bidding on auction items.
The August Auction start today:
